Projects
Crime Correlation (https://github.com/olegmrnv/crime_correlations.git)
Group project to examine the possibility of correlations between crime and natural disasters by reviewing datasets for 2011 Earthquake in Louisa County, VA and after Hurricane Ike in Galveston, TX.
Tools: Microsoft Excel, Python, Pandas, Matplotlib, API, Jupyter Notebook
Texas Dream (https://github.com/olegmrnv/texas_dream.git)
Group project using multi-factor analysis of income, unemployment, school performance, and air quality data to determine optimum location to live in Texas.
Tools: Python, JavaScript, SQLite, Choropleth Mapping
Well Finder (https://github.com/kundyz/well_finder.git)
The purpose of this project is to apply Machine Learning (ML) to real-world problems in the petroleum industry.
Tools: Python, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook, Machine Learning
Petroleum Capstone Project: Radial Conductivity Testing Procedure for Filter Cake Breakers
Developed a testing procedure capable of measuring radial conductivity in a simulated borehole under pressure and temperature.
The testing procedure resulted in a 95.64% flowback for the first breaker, 86.38% flowback for the second breaker, and 110.25% flowback for the third breaker.
The first breaker showed a radial conductivity return of 0.556%, the second breaker showed 0.009%, and data for the third test was compromised either because of a leak or because the filter cake was not built up properly.
