HVAC / DCS / CFD/Energy Analysis UPDATED: DEC 2018

CV of AHMAD M. DOUGHAN

FIELDS OF EXPERTISE

I have more than 20 years of experience in the areas of HVAC systems, District Cooling Systems (DCS), Computational Fluid Dynamics (scientific/applied CFD-based research in ZAC R&D dept with publications in international journals and conferences including ASHRAE) among others. I have extensive building hourly energy analysis experience and well versed with working on many cooling load programs. Between 2006 and 2013, I was actively involved in the evaluation, analysis & design of DCSs with a leading role in Energy Transfer Stations (ETS) and energy analysis of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems. During my service, I was involved in many aspects of mega projects from data-gathering to planning to cost estimate to development of design documents & eng’g calculations; during which I conducted alternative technology analyses and LCCA for new projects or in support of successful bids. Prior to joining ZAMIL, I worked in K&A/Beirut as a design engineer and at AUB as a research assistant among others.
