Project Assigned Education City Football Stadium Project Description of Project Education City Stadium is an open cooled stadium for FIFA World cup 2022 Qatar, to host football matches and it will have the capacity to accommodate 45,000spectators.This is a joint venture project between Joannou & Paraskevaides and Conspel
(JPAC JV). Our scope of work for this project includes all civil works (excavations, Foam work, Steel fixing concreting slab structures, columns) erection of pre-casted concrete structure, block Work MEP work, tile fixing, steel structure and facade and testing and commissioning. Job Responsibilities:-
Conduct of daily site surveillance to ensure that tasks are carried out in line with safe work procedure.
Managing and coordinating with site management & Safety department members. Guiding and supporting 12 Sr.Safety Officer and 45 safety officers to reach our project safety goal “Zero accident”.
To execute JSA/safety action plans for all critical tasks that are planned on project. Evaluation of sub-contractors safety performance through audits and inspections. Preparation of system safety and integrity test, control safety and check for certifications of basic components of the TBM.
Ensure complete implementation of all corrective active and recommendations resulted from safety auditing and incident investigation
Support HSE manager and team in implementing of effective HSE policy, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the project objectives are met. Conducting periodic inspection of heavy moving equipment/plant. Meeting with contractor safety representative, conduct site safety inspection, participate in safety audit, and risk assessments.
Conducting HSE Training & orientation to all new employees. Provide support to project and operation team in all aspect of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
Preparation of all HSE documentations as per local registration and organization procedure and client and consultant requirements.
Inspection of temporary electrical installation as lock out and tag out system. Inspection and monthly colour coding of firefighting equipment’s (Fire extinguisher). Coordinating with administration on welfare facilities to be ensured as per labour law required (water/dining/ toilets/ rest area and transportation) Page 4
Conducting periodical audit for sub-contractor and ensuring proper implementation of safety policies at site
Supervising contractors HSE department for ensuring that adequate safety advice and resources can be provided to the business
Conducting inspections and advising on enforcement & adherence to laws, regulations or employer policies governing worker health and safety Maintaining zero injuries goal at site also making and maintaining the report properly Administering activities like implementing the site safety policies including sub-contractor as per the client’s HSE policy &ensuring proper implementation of tool box talks, pre task briefing, heavy lift operations, lifting plan & erection work and so on Controlling vehicle movement engaged in construction activities and inspecting construction equipment before starting the work

Creating effective procedures for the preparation and implementation of programs within the area of Construction; implementing HSE policy and programs in the site. Prepare COSHH assessment and coordinate with supplier, subcontractor to ensure compliance.

Description of Project The project is a joint venture between Porr / Saudi Bin Laden Group / HBK. This project consists of 16.6km of twin bored tunnels, 8 underground stations, built at a depth of 20 meters. This project spans from Masheireb (Central Station) through to Education City and on to Al Rayyan. This project is essential in the delivery of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is a key contributor to Qatar's 2030 vision. The contract comprises the Design and Build of all works, the 6 TBMs all of which are Earth pressure boring machines, with a diameter of more than 7 m will mine simultaneously and 37 cross passages and 07 evacuation shafts by New Austrian Tunnelling Method.
