PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
A clustering approach to analyse auto parts salesr – The project involved clustering of auto parts buyers based on their spatial co-ordinates. The Euclidean distance was used as the distance norm for DBSCAN to cluster the buyers in order to analyse the sale pattern of autoparts in various regions. The graphical clusters helped with boosting sales of auto parts by analysing the buying pattern.
Auto Parts Catalogue (Big Data Processing) – Created an Auto Parts catalogue from raw unstructured data. It involved ETL process using Apache Spark and Scala to clean and preprocess data so that it be prepared for display. The catalogue thus formed, was used in constructing data feeds and sitemaps for the auto parts. Data feed and sitemaps – Created Google and Bing data feeds and their corresponding sitemaps for the auto parts sale. Also handled the Google Content API which involved the updation, modification, addition and deletion of the millions of auto parts products using batch processes.
PPSAANJH – Saanjh is e-Governance project to provide different services of Poilce Department so that Punjab Police can be made citizen friendly. For PPSAANJH we Designed and wrote anomaly testing procedures for new web based developments and services; resulted in more accurate, streamlined and accurate testing of products. E-beatbook Chandigarh Police and E-saathi – Design and Develop e-beatbook and e-saathi app for police officer and citizen, e-beatbook is a software application which wants to enable the beat / divide staff to digitalize the data to be phrased to his / her beat using the smart phones entrusted to them viz. the details regarding Leading Citizens, License Holders, people aiding criminals, important / vulnerable places, hotels / guest houses, religious places, slum areas, criminals operating / residing in the area, community policing initiatives etc. SOFTWARE SKILLS
