Projects:

Columbus-based on-line auction business was using leased software from a similar business. I was the lead developer to create a secure cloud-based system. Interviewed owners and key employees to develop process requirements. Designed the logical data base and functional screen layouts. Once systems were programmed, tested the entire system to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Anticipated savings exceeded $300,000.00.

At a business selling used computer and technology equipment, we showed them how to switch to an on-line auction model using the software developed at the above company. Developed changes needed to support additional functions needed to support their processes and business strategies.

Consulted with a local interior design company. Their business is growing dramatically, and their business processes have evolved from their earlier roots. We interviewed the owner, employees, and designers to identify information needs and problems in their processes. We proposed a comprehensive, secure, cloud-based system to integrate their data resources and support faster and more efficient information flows, while providing concise information for management.

Multiple Y2K projects including Ohio Health in Columbus, as a sub-contractor to IBM. And to Sparrow Health Systems in Est Lansing MI. Again, as a sub-contractor to IBM. We worked in multiple locations and with a wide-range of applications to find date issues, recommend solutions, and test fixes.

Worked with NCFE, a Dublin-based company to recommend comprehensive improvements to their systems that had evolved as the company grew. They were on multiple platforms with cumbersome interfaces. We interviewed the owners, managers, and many system users. Our recommendations included integrated systems crossing management lines to provide faster, efficient, and more-accurate processes.

Worked with multiple community hospitals to make systems changes and improvements.
