Initially, I accepted a position in the UH/Ross Heart Hospital Critical Care Float Pool. After 6 months of employment, I was promoted to Administrative Nursing Supervisor. RN in a high acuity coronary and peripheral lab. Unit consisted of 9 functional labs. Assisted in the coordination of care with interventional cardiologists, ancillary staff and RNs. Improved critical thinking skills and gained knowledge of caring for patients during diagnostic and interventional angiograms, carotid stenting, and peripheral studies.
