DESIGNATION: CCTV & FIBER Optic Splicing & ELV supervisor
DURATION : April 2015 till data
RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED:
Installed and programmed the CCTV systems in the light commercial and residential environment. Designed the site drawings and installed the system accordingly on the plans drawn earlier.
Installed the audio and video CCTV system along with the DVR system. Organized the network with the help of different types of cameras and then connecting it to the main system. Monitored the cameras that were installed in the system with the help of the wireless data transfers.
Tested the CCTV, security and the fire alarm functions with the help of the testing equipments, fixed if any
malfunctions.
Installed the equipments by programming the equipment such as CCTV, security and the fire alarm system
according to the regulations and standards of the government. Planned the equipment installation by identifying the requirement of the customer and evaluating the location to
prepare the lay out plans. Prepared equipments for installation by gathering all the necessary equipments, tools and supplies.
Termination and dressing of Cat.6, Cat.6A & Multi pair cable on all kind of Patch panel outlets
Testing of installed Cat.6, Cat.6A & multi pair using Fluke tester
Performed Fiber Optic cable installations as directed, using documented FOSS internal working practises as guidelines
Termination and splicing of fiber optic cables as documented in the FOSS internal working practice documentation
Conduct pre-or post installation tests and to diagnose and rectify any problems on Fiber Optic cables installed.
To document all test results obtained and ensure all tests have been completed as documented in the agreed Sales quotation.
Ensuring all additional work is documented and signed for by the customer as a variation on the original contract.
Achieving customer sign-off for all work completed within the target times and with minimum costs.
To splice, terminate and dress all types of fiber optic cables and connectors.
Perform Drum tests, Post Installation testing and End to End testing using an OTDR and OLTS.
