• Attend pre-job meetings with Engineers and Pipeline Superintendent to identify drilling requirements and to explain and promote the company’s services

• Review blueprints and make suggestions on engineering reports, designs, and lake/river/creek profiles

• Develop bore plans using Bore Planner software

• Coordinate manpower and equipment requirements as needed, minimiz- ing resource wastage and mitigating risks associated with sub-standard HDD practices

• Direct and supervise crew in all aspects of drilling operations such as access, setup, drilling, mud management, and pull through

• Complete several hundred projects per year, all within the budget

• Supervise the most complex projects (up to 1200 m in length and 3” - 36” in pipe diameter), in terrains such as mountains, muskeg, urban areas, boreal forests and prairies

• Successfully turn around and complete several troubled projects that have fallen behind schedule under other drilling supervisors; resulting in renew- al of contracts for future projects
