Summary
Mechanical and Energy Engineer with an MBA in Operations Management and a career spanning both large and small organizations working across the spectrum from business development to design to project execution. ● Spearheaded the Global Cooling Prize entry along with the company's CTO. The entry is one among the eight shortlisted finalists across the globe (2019)
● Filed one patent application on new concept for indirect evaporative cooling (2019).
● Led the joint development project with a large conglomerate and developed an opportunity of USD 15 Mn per year in the Indian cooling appliance market. Responsible for product concept, product design, and manufacturing operations plan, and also gave inputs on legal aspects and market evaluation (2018-19).
● Led design and development of the first standard indirect evaporative cooling product in India for mass market (HMX IDECool website) (2018)
● Evaluated the potential for indirect evaporative cooling in the Australian market in multiple segments. Identified partners, closed development agreements, and executed the first sales (2017).
● Successfully achieved UL type-test certificate for performance of the core heat exchanger technology (2016).
● Led design and execution of hybrid evaporative machines for comfort cooling application at 0.42 Mn ft2 training centre of renowned environmental and sustainability NGO (Centre for Science and Environment) (2016).
● Established first of a kind laboratory to evaluate evaporative cooling systems in India based on ASHRAE 143 (2015).
● Formulated methodology for energy modeling, simulation, data analysis, and reporting for warehouse application of leading e-tail company. Led to order value of over INR 11 Mn

● Formed a team of engineers, consultants, and vendors for the energy audit of small and medium-sized offices. Led the planning and implementation of energy efficiency solutions including 15000 kWh per year solar PV plant (2015).

● Simulations for solar thermal power plant configuration decision, output estimates and cost comparisons.
● Generate Plant PFDs (Process flow diagrams) and heat and mass balance diagrams.

The scope of this report is to elaborate on the operation plan for a manufacturing facility. It aims to bring together theoretical and practical aspects of operation in an actual industrial setup.
● Dissertation: 'Energy Efficiency in Stenter Operation' The aim of the project was to achieve higher energy efficiency in textile stenters, it is an energy intensive process as identified by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
● Course Project: 'Energy Audit of IITB water pumping system' Calculated system efficiencies for IITB water pump-sets (ranging from 30 HP to 160HP, 5 MLD capacity). Recommended solutions for Rs. 8Lac/annum savings and payback for around 2.5 years. Academic Qualifications
