Project Description

The Main objective of this team is to perform daily utility tasks at the stipulated time without any delay and also performing the SOD and EOD tasks on daily basis.

Role: Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

·Worked on Daily tasks.

·Raised Incident tickets to the concerned team in case of any issues in the tasks and done the follow up until it is resolved.

·Responsible for generating daily, weekly and monthly reports by executing the SQL using Mainframe.

·Interaction with client on understanding new requirements.

·Continuously monitored the application using Control-M and Geneos on daily basis and intimated the concerned team in case of failures via mail.

Project Description

Data Centre Operations (DCOPS) team supports the L2 team to smoothen their work. It is also responsible for the SOD, EOD and Online activities of the bank. Supports all the GTB applications.

Role: Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

·Working with L2 team to know about the requirements.

·Running the Adhoc scripts provided by L2 by logging into the server of the respective branch using putty.

·Working on the Incidents raised by L2 or branch operation team.

·Responsible for rerunning, forcefully running, holding, killing and releasing the Control-M jobs based on the L2 or Branch operations team.

·Worked on the change raised by the application specific team based on their requirements which includes Major release activities.

·Worked on Production Data Recovery and Disaster Recovery tasks with respect to the implementation task raised by the application specific team.

·Intimating the L2 team regarding the failures and doing the follow up until it is resolved.

·Responsible for Batch monitoring making sure that there is no interruption in the EOD and SOD process of the bank.

·Responsible for closing the Incident tickets and Implementation tasks once it is completed.

·Responsible for monitoring the EOM and EOY jobs in Control –M and act on the failed jobs based on L2’s instruction to avoid the interruption in the flow of the banks process
