Quality Control
Responsibility and Duty as Follows:
Conducting Quality control tests on soil, aggregate, sand, etc., for finding their suitability to be used in Embankment, Sub grade, Sub-Base, and asphalt mixes, etc., as per ASTM, BS, AASHTO and Contract Specification.
Testing of Soil such as Sieve Analysis, Plastic and Liquid limit. Aggregates tests like Sieve Analysis, Specific Gravity, Soundness, Loss of abrasion, Impact Value, Clay Lumps. Concrete testing such as Compressive strength and Slump test, Durability test of concrete like, Water permeability test and Absorption test. To analyze and evaluate the data, including test results obtained by the contractor during soils and materials investigations.
Responsible for the all supervision of laboratory activities. Ensure the adequate resources are maintained in the laboratory for performing the tests as per standard requirements.
Responsible for testing of soil, aggregate, asphalt and concrete samples carried out in the laboratory as per the international standards. Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
