Maintenance Technician:

I was designated various properties to maintain and repair. This included, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs. I also did all the grounds keeping for my designated properties. To keep track of work orders, requests for vendors, Work progress, and level of importance, I used the "Yardi," mobile App. and "Yardi Inspector," for CMHA inspections. I learned to deal productively with tenants who had issues with drug abuse, mental disabilities, physical disabilities, and chronic homelessness.

Insertion Machine Operator: Operated and maintained high speed insertion equipment. Quality check each job per its individual work order. High security was maintained at all times in our area because the insertion machines would be loading Checks, personal medical test info, Insurance bills, and retirement checks. Had to undergo extensive background Checks.

Maintained Dies: used to make car parts in Warehouse, Delivered dies to the various press areas located in the plant by way of a 70,000 pound forklift called an Auto Lift 70. I then would take the dies back to the warehouse for storage once production was finished.

Operated and maintained Hydraulic press. Extruded heated Aluminum through heated dies. Changed dies per order. Used micrometers to check ID and OD, of aluminum extrusions, burned extrusions to desired length, sometimes worked the powder coat line when needed, load and unload with forklift.

Collected sand used in steel casting process with a front end loader, bobcat, and forklift. Loaded sand into a sand recycling machine which I also operated and maintained. Operated a 90 year old extruder with resin coated sand for cores to make bolt holes etc. In steel castings. I was also a lab tech using CNC lathes to mill down test bars for tensile strength testing in the lab. I was a chainman and overhead crane operator. i had to use various gauges, micrometers, and calipers to quality assure parts. Sometimes used a band saw to cut parts in half for inspection. Can operate a plasma burn table.
