Similar Image Search and Relevance Feedback 08/2019 – 12/2019
● Implemented an image search algorithm for finding a set of similar images, using local binary pattern and histogram of gradients visual models which are clustered using Locality Sensitive Hashing.
● Developed a personalized PageRank based relevance feedback system to improve results for query-based on relevance and irrelevance feedback from the user.
Glucose levels based Meal Detection 09/2019 – 10/2019
● An attempt to solve a problem from ASU’s Impact Lab where the program detects the intake of meal based on changes in glucose levels of a person.
● Used Sliding Window Statistics (Mean, Standard deviation, Skew and Area under the curve), 3rd Order Polynomial Coefficients and FFT as features to train SVM RBF model with an accuracy of 63%, when compared to the best model in the lab having 72% accuracy.
