In this role as Senior Electrical Engineer for Sidra Medical and Research Centre Project at Education City, I am responsible to review all the electrical technical submitals, MT’s, Shop drawings, plans, schedules, reports, RFI’s and correspondances. I served as a Senior Electrical Engineer on the National Convention Centre Project at Education City. I was responsible for the overall supervision and reviewing of technical submittals, shop drawings, as built drawings of all electrical services work which included lighting, LV power, HV/MV underground cabling, substations, MV panels, feeder panels, street lighting, all electrical utilities, as well as earthing for the Kahramaa and Qtel utility rooms. Also included was solar panels, lightning protection for structures, external and internal gate barrier systems, external digital signage and diesel fuel storage system. I managed the interface coordination between the project and entities such as WOQOD, Kahramaa, Qtel and Civil Defense. I supervise all the work to ensure compliance with the various stipulated requirements for the project. In these roles over many years, I supervised and executed many prestige’s High rise buildings, residential, commercial, Healthcare project in the United Arab Emirates. As a site Electrical Engineer I was responsible for execution of the electrical infrastructure and services work on site in accordance with the design and drawings so as to ensure its full compliance with the contract including local regulations and accepted practices. Satisfactory completion of the work was demonstrated by successful testing and commissioning processes. The work involved 11kV/440V substations, 11kV and 440V overhead lines and a significant amount of underground cables. For these multiple projects in Srinagar, India, efficient planning and optimum utilization of materials and manpower was critical to the success of the project works.
