National Oilwell Varco – Houston, TX – Application Development Engineer 2018 - Present Lead back-end feature development for C# monoliths and Golang microservices for one of NOV’s largest web applications:

● Created reporting tool to accept parameters, gather time series data and other metadata, and visualize on a PDF with Highcharts embedded graphs

● Implemented a scheduling tool for a $500k external client project, standing up microservices and Postgres databases

● Migrated legacy C# application to expand the functionality of a centralized, common backend that multiple business units’ applications can use; Refactored organization and updated versioning capabilities

● Created and manage over ten Bamboo build and deploy plans to automate and regulate the CI/CD process

● Meet regularly with business units to translate requirements into technical stories to guide UI/UX and front-end design Perform a variety of devops and project management responsibilities for software engineering department:

● Analyzed clients’ procurement cards usage to identify wasteful spending, saving them an estimated $500,000 annually

● Built processes to send over 15,000 personalized emails in a six-month period leveraging various APIs
