Project architect for a 23 story condominium building. Project budget: $45M.
One Las Vegas Condominiums – Las Vegas, Nevada
Project Construction Administration architect for owner. I provide specifications/contract review of documents on site and assisted owner with his on-going conflicts with general contractor.
Boing Plate Shop – Portland, Oregon
Project architect in development of program into a schematic design for Boing’ addition to the existing airplane manufacturing building. Provide many code research and analysis of conflict issues generated by building expansion. Project was seeking LEED certification.
Washington State Patrol Forensic Lab – Vancouver, Washington
Project architect thru design development of a new Forensic Lab/Office building. Project budget: $10M.
UC Davis Veterinarian Instructional Facility, Davis, California
Team architect for the University of California at Davis school of Veterinary Medicine expansion of two new two-story facility buildings for the students’ daily arrival, auditorium and orientation classes, and respite from heavy class/lab events of the veterinary course.
Mary Bridge Clinical Outpatient Facility, Tacoma Washington
Project architect for a 5 story Medical out-patient facility on the campus of Tacoma Hospital. Project budget: $19M.
Grace Semi-Conductor Manufacturing Corporation, Shanghai, China
Project Architect responsible for managing development of basic design documents for GSMC, a newly organized microelectronics company formed with the specific goal to construct and manufacture microelectronic chips in Shanghai, China. The project process included all challenges from new staffing on the owner’s side, to a new industrial park site: Zhang Jhang High Tech Park.
IBM Cleanroom Renovations, Fishkil, New York
Project Architect. On-site renovation of the existing IBM facilities at the Fishkil headquarters site, New York.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, Tainan, Taiwan
Project Architect. A microelectronics foundry fabrication facility of over 89,000 square feet of Cleanroom, Central Utilities Plant (CUP), support building for the receiving and distribution of raw material, HPM and out-put product and an attached 6 story office building.
Fujitsu Microelectronics, Gresham, Oregon
Lead Architect. Addition to the existing fabrication facility campus, Central Utilities Plant (CUP) and a separate manufacturing/office building.
Kikkoman, Folsom, California
Construction Administration Architect. Responsibilities included reviewing the requirements of the UBC for occupancy and listing the necessary tasks that needed to be complete in order to obtain three separate staged certificates of occupancy from the City of Folsom.
Intel Corporation, Fab 18, Kiryat Gat, Israel
Project Architect. This new Intel fabrication facility is centrally located in Israel on the edge of a 40,000 population farming town. The campus is composed of a Pumphouse, Substation, Facilities/contractors office building, Central Utilities Building (CUB), manufacturing building with 75,000 sq. ft. clean room, Office building and two Guard buildings. In April of 1996 we moved to Israel to oversee the construction of the new facility. My role for the next 18 months was the shared role of Project Architect with Mr. Eric Stoehr. I managed the continued development of design and all related field issues -Eric monitored schedule with the local consultants responsible for producing modified construction documents per local requirements.
Intel Corporation, Chandler, Arizona
Team Architect. The additional of a new manufacturing facility, Fab, Cub and Office building on the same site as Intel’s existing Fab 12 in Chandler, Arizona, came as a “copy exactly” from the D1C facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.
