My Resume

I, Donald Nongola, am a Senior Curriculum Specialist (Special Education) at the Curriculum Development Centre, Ministry of General Education in Zambia. I regularly deal with the development, review and research of curriculum for learners with special educational needs. I have developed an adapted Mathematics curriculum for Primary and Senior Secondary that I am currently using to train teachers on how to teach learners with visual impairments. I am a doctorate student at UNICAF University, now doing the research component. I hold a Masters degree in Special Education (UNZA), and first degree in Special Education (UNZA), with Mathematics as a minor. I have diplomas in Research (Advanced)(PASGRY), Nutrition (NRDC), and Curriculum Design (Open University of Tanzania). I have various other certificates that are in Environmental Education (Uppsala -Sweden), Proposal and Report Writing (Author Aid), Grand Proposal Writing (Author Aid), Business and Marketing (UNZA), and Inclusive Education (Yokohama -Japan). I currently chair inclusive meetings between Ministry of General Education and Co-operating Partners, I am a true advocate of the inclusive education. I have lectured at UNZA to 4th year students several times on request. I am reaching 55 years this year and I am retiring from government in April 2020. I am ready to start work as soon as possible.
