Qualifications
Registered with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT/OSCT).
Experience in performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests such as: Electrocardiograms (12 and 15 lead ECG), Stress testing, Stress echo testing, Holter, AMBPs and Loop recorder hook-ups, Holter scanning, and Pulmonary Function Testing.
Excellent in preparing and setting up both patient and machines for stress tests (regular and nuclear) as well as for stress Echo, and providing the physician with a tracing of the patient’s ECG, blood pressure and heart rate before and during the test.
Maintain and clean equipment and supplies after the test, ensure that there is enough supplies for the next day, report all problems and complications to the technical team.
Understanding of cardiac arrhythmia and abnormalities, which assures preparing a thorough and detailed Holter report for cardiologists.
Being able to tackle various Holter scanning software, by entering, transcribing, recording, storing and maintaining patient information.
Own a car, willing to work in different locations.
