Full-Stack Web Portal Application Django, Python, HTML5/CSS3

- Utilized Django’s MVT (Model View Template) web framework to create a full stack application.

- Designed the structure and appearance of the web pages using Django’s template engine and HTML5/CSS3.

- Allowed users to update their information and post web blogs onto the backend of the web portal.

- Adopted Django’s model class and its database migration functionalities to set up our backend tables.

- Implemented the report builder GUI which allowed admins to construct data reports/graphs of the accounts/blogs by querying through the user data in our backend.

- Created different roles and applied automated testing to different account types using Python’s unittest library.

- Resolved application bugs using written unit tests that improved system functionality.

- Utilized React along with both modern JavaScript ES6 features to create a single page Burger Builder application where the user is able to see their orders updated dynamically.

- Allowed users to save their orders and also update their burger with available ingredients by using Axios to handle all of the API calls with the backend.

- Implemented a more responsive design by using different media queries for various viewports in order to make the application look good on a variety of devices.

- Used Jest with React Testing Library to create unit tests for individual app components which helped identify bugs and errors.

Open Source Contribution to Docusaurus JavaScript

- Contributed to the Docusaurus repository on Github, a Facebook open source project.

- Acquired new logos for the Docusaurus project and displayed them on the home page.
