* Systems analysis, full SDLC for re-design of Administering Manual System including database high- and low-level (mapping) design, and implementation: workflow control using self-diagnostics through the whole 3-layer system, conversion to/from (SGML, TIFF, PDF, TXT)with complex content analysis, replication on multi-server domestic environment and world-wide replication - for Electronic Documentation Delivery System of Aircraft manuals (EFS and AFS on HP-UX 10.20/11i; Oracle v.8i; Sybase 11i, C, Korn shell, awk, Perl 5, SQL, PL/SQL).
Achievements: Re-design of EDD Administering System: workflow control schema with conflict situations’ and error status validation instead of separate staging server cluster with traditional IT technology ($40K); ten times increasing documentation workflow capacity of the application with much bigger reliability; CD-ROM and DVD documentation and archiving ($120K/year)

Achievements: Project cancelled due to changed market conditions.

* Systems analysis, data modeling, design, development, testing and implementation of systems "Supply Chain Demand Forecast Error Performance Indication" and "Exception Based Reporting for Planners Analysis" for Integrated Supply Chain System. Regular back-end processing uses Korn shell scripts with Maestro-scheduler and SQL*Loader for extracting/loading data from Manugistics and PL/SQL functions, procedure and packages as a kernel of the system. The system is written on Korn shell, awk, PL/SQL for multi-server environment (Oracle8 under AIX and HP-UX). Performed DBA duties for my system schema.
Achievements: full application development cycle for new information modules of Integrated Supply Chain System with high time efficiency (cycle was shortened eight times from 24 hours to 3 hours) due to special design.

* Analysis of the system structure for configuration management (was written set of scripts analyzing structure of all invoked macros and COBOL programs for each job of the system, and determining level of involving for each macro, and also disk space distribution for the system by each subdirectory).
* Modification, conversion, testing, and implementation of Wholesale system for North America from Data General to UNIX environment with additional Y2K adaptation. Re-engineering of the system environment for the system (Korn shell, awk); system, regression and volume/stress testing, post-test analysis (Korn shell, MF COBOL, UFOS database).
Achievements: Re- engineering of Wholesale system environment; designed automated testing tool has allowed almost four times higher speed of test cycle improving data validation and verification efficiency.

* Analysis, data modeling, design, development, and implementation of E-mail subsystem for VoiceMail Report system using file distribution of different reports through E-mail instead of their printing and distribution - awk, C, Korn shell, SQL, PL/SQL, Windows NT shell scripting, Developer/2000.
* Analysis, data modeling, design, development, and implementation of two on-line transactions for HR and Phone Charge System. Logical and physical design of database for PCS, data conversion from various formats (Access, Excel, Lotus) to ASCII, validation of data by loading in database tables - SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, embedded SQL, awk, Korn shell, MF COBOL.
* Analysis, design, development, and implementation of system for automation testing in sync all batch job streams (about 800) by massive internal structures modification for project “Department Expansion Codification”. System includes analysis and preparation of test environments and data (migration, conversion, etc) for each jobstream, run with diagnostics each job in both areas, comparison of results (files and tables), and reporting for each test session - Korn shell scripting, awk, C, SQL, PL/SQL.
* Analysis, data modeling, design, development and implementation of monitoring the VoiceMail Report system for headquarters phone system: data conversion, actual population of database, reports, statistics, online access by privileges - Korn shell, awk, C, SQL*Plus, Developer/2000.
* Design, development, and modification of UNIX scripts and C-programs for control and conversion of files which were transferred from the Bull to HP environments and vice versa. Design, development of scripts for a search of various data in source areas, jobs, and information files. Various scripts for work with tapes in CA-Unicenter environment.
* Analysis, modification, testing of various systems (Client Information system, Mailing system, Financial systems etc.) by transferring those systems from the Bull environment (GCOS; JCL, COBOL; DMIV) to HP9000 (HP-UX; Bourne and Korn shells, MF COBOL v.3.1, SQL, PL/SQL; Oracle 7.2) in frames of the Y2K project.
Achievements: full application development cycle for numerous corporative information sub-systems; designed automated testing tool for massive verification of converted applications on database and data file levels which has allowed speed up to five times the full testing process; designed some sysadmin utilities for effective search and work with tapes

* Analysis, design, development of pilot project of IT system handling financial securities. The system was designed for financial securities department. The team includes 5 specialists. Duties included: data analysis, logical and physical design of database objects, programming of scripts (SQL, PL/SQL) for data entry validation parameters etc. The system controlled processes of verification, transmission, and accumulating data from remote PC-terminals, updated all stocks transactions, tested correctness of bargains with stocks. Implementation of the system for initial data preparation (Bourne shell, C). The system used RDBMS Oracle v.7.1 under MPE on HP 3000 server.
* Design a concept of the business structure for this company in market environment within privatization process.
Achievements: full application development cycle for new IT system on new hardware and software environment.
Research and Production Group “Cryogen Machines”, Odessa, Ukraine 09/88 - 07/94
Project Leader, Lead Research Fellow
* Analysis, design, development of complex distributed database project for full production manufacturing cycle of liquid oxygen producing machines. The database contained of data described all life cycle processes from design to sales managing of those machines. The IT system contained of basic database on mainframe and client databases that worked on PCs in various divisions of the RPGroup. The system was designed and implemented on IBM370 with 20 IBM PCs communicating through Ethernet (MVS, MS DOS; COBOL, CICS; C, Clipper).
* Analysis, design, testing, and implementation of on-line IT system for managing of one of plant division. The system flexibly reacted on various changes of basic monthly schedule by using different term/cost criteria. Own division database was the part of basic database of the plant. Was responsible for systems design, basic algorithm of data exchange, its testing, and implementation. (MVS; JCL, COBOL, PL/1, CICS). The system was implemented on several other plants.
* Design, development, testing, and implementation of interface subsystem which transferred information between CAD and CAM systems of the plant. The system worked on IBM370 (MVS: JCL, COBOL).
* Analysis, modeling, and design of logical structure and database of IT subsystem for plant transportation system utilizing structured methodology. Development of network algorithms for control of the transportation system as real-time system.
Achievements: full application development cycle for stand-alone and distributed information systems; scientific research and design of complex IT subsystems for special technological processes.

* Analysis of various complex systems using methods of systems theory, design of different optimization and statistical models for those systems (for instance, adaptive control and planning in complex economic-ecological systems), development of mathematical methods for solving of control problems in such systems.
* Analysis, design, and development of software for applications of mathematical methods in solving various economical problems on IBM-compatible mainframe (BioStat, SPSS, Cplex, PL/1, FORTRAN 77).
* Analysis, design, development, testing, implementation of computerized accounting information system for Odessa Regional Pension Fund on IBM-compatible mainframe(COBOL).
Achievements: designed and developed by me the IT system for Odessa Regional Pension Fund was implemented into other regions of Ukraine by Social Security Ministry order. The application worked without any changes 12 years increasing by four times the Regional Fund documentation workflow capacity.
