Involved in the 3D design and the 2D draft of a future booster compression module, supporting a small team detailing primary and secondary steal as well as ladders, walkways and handrail in the 3D model. Involved in the 3D design and 2D drafting for this semi sub project. As one of the more experienced PDMS designers I was also involved in the training aspect for the less experienced designers.

Supervisor’s role for a London based project, I was over seeing a five man team for deliverables on a tight schedule for all west decks. This included drawings for pipe supports, equipment supports and all secondary attachment plans.

Marine Well Containment - Structural Designer (PDMS 3D Model & 2d Draft)

Involved in the 3D modelling and 2D drafting which was essentially a pipe rack that would be used as an emergency deployment rack onto a vessel in the event of a disaster at sea. The drawings contained detailed sections and details of each bent on the pipe rack which was being altered daily due to pipes moving. I worked in close communication with the yard because of these changes.

My job was to design supports for equipment assigned to me then I would produce draft drawings to go design complete. I was also in charge of supporting all electrical equipment on all decks and designing raised floors in drilling switch gear room.

Involved in the 3D modelling, 2D drafting and management of pipe supports and electrical supports assisting in model changes and problems encountered due to pipe alterations which included clash checks and reports.

7/06-6/07 KBR - (CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT)

Tombua Landana - Structural Designer (PDMS 3D Model & 2d Draft)

Involved in the 3D modelling and 2D drafting of cable tray supports, modelling secondary steel, assisting in clash checks and the re-design of model from clash reports followed by the update of drawings due to changes.

Repsol Project - Structural Designer (PDMS 3D Model & 2d Draft)

Involved in the 3D modeling and 2D drafting of the fractionations main rack and access platforms, which included the design of hand railing on all walkways and platforms, stair towers and ladders.

3/04-7/06 VETCO AIBEL (OSLO, NORWAY) - (CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT)

Golfino FPSO Project - Structural Designer (PDMS 3D Model & 2d Draft)

Involved in the modelling M13, M21 and M31 (flash gas modules) and (oil separation module) this involved 3D modelling for the design of main steel nodes, secondary steel deck stringers and penetrations. Also outfitting steel required for access platforms, hand railing, ladders and stairs. Preparing for the above2D draft drawings for fabrication.

Alvheim FPSO Project – Marathon - Structural Designer (PDMS 3D Model & 2d Draft)

Involved with the modelling of decks TP35 (main deck) TP25(weather deck) TP21 and TP30. This involved 3D modelling for the design of secondary steel deck stringers, plating, penetrations, access platforms, hand railing, ladders, stairs and all types of support pads. I then followed procedure and ran design checks and clash reports so that I could then produce 2D Drawings for fabrication.

7/01- 2/04 AKER KVAERNER (OSLO, NORWAY) - (CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT)

I have been involved in the management and implementation of embedment plates for the above two projects. This involved receiving information from site and modelling the embedment plates to the co-ordinates given. I have been involved in the modelling and production of 2D draft drawings for access platforms, handrails, ladders, pipe supports, anodes and anode frames.
