I have worked as a Generalist at Urdaneta Sacred Heart Hospital where I did controls on the machines, worked in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and other sections of the clinical laboratory. With all of my encompassing laboratory experience it would be of benefit to this position.

Position: Staff Medical Technologist

Urdaneta Sacred Heart Hospital is a private hospital that sees an average influx of 150 inpatients including an average of 300 to 500 outpatients per day. Working for them as a Medical Technologist Generalist in the clinical lab. I worked on Cepheid Gene Xpert MTB/RIF PCR to diagnose patients with Tuberculosis. As well as a Sebia Minicap Flex Percing Capillary Electrophoresis to test for hemoglobin A1C. I also worked one on one with patients in phlebotomy and blood donation. Part of being a Generalist I have rotated to all the sections of the clinical laboratory including the Blood Banking and Serology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Clinical Microscopy and Parasitology, and also with the Microbiology department whereas I am able to perform all the routine and complex laboratory tests.

Pro-Care Medical Clinic and Hospital is a small infirmary hospital with a secondary laboratory that performs basic laboratory tests. Working with them I performed phlebotomy and well as the blood chemistry. Along with complete blood counts, urinalysis, blood chemistry tests and serological tests.

Eastern Pangasinan Multi Specialty Clinic is a small free-standing clinical lab that performs basic laboratory tests. Working with them I dealt with an average of 100 specimens per day, including blood, urine and stool. As a Generalist my focus in the laboratory was on blood chemistry tests and Complete blood counts.
