DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSEBLE FOR LAUNDRY AND LINEN OPERATION

1. Oraganize the work force under supervision to work effectively and thoroughly.

2. Supervise the work of the team to ensure adherence to quality standards,deadlines and proper procedures are followed,correcting errors or problems.

3. Operate and monitor washing,dry cleaning,drying and pressing machinery.

4.Ensure that all daily production reports are updated and submitted to the accounts department on timely manner.

5. Ensure that all laundry items are cleaned,pressed and delivered on timely manner according to the hotel procedures and standards.

6. Sharing new ideas with employee and to continually train and re-train laundry staff

7. Able to make TNA and Finger Report,laundry bills,etc..

8. Liaise with Linen Room and linen runner to ensure that they have adequate clean linen and uniforms available for the operation.

9. Inspect laundry trolleys,rails and laundry equipment ensuring all is in working order and the correct operating procedures are followed by the colleagues.

10.Ensure that colleagues are given a proper handover after end of duty.

11. Ensure that all folders,files,worksheets and logbooks are maintained and updated at all times.

12.Maintaining laundry neat & clean at all times.

13.Counter check all items process are spotlessly cleaned to the hotel standards and guest satisfaction.

14.Respond quickly to guest request in a friendly manner,reports appropriate guest complaints and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.

15.Strictly follow the procedure on Lost and Found.

16.Prepare weekly schedule for the staff according to the business level.
