TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Water Pipeline Design Project Nov 2019
Designed and optimized a water pipeline that would carry 870 km over various topography using Microsoft Excel to optimize and examine multiple iterations of the design
Organized the obtained data into graphs, table and figures, and through this information created a formal engineering report detailing and outlining all decisions and corresponding justifications
Compaction Proctor Test January 2020
Utilized a compaction mold and hammer with an assigned group in order to test soils with varying water contents, and determined what percentage of it would provide optimal dry density of soil
Calculated multiple other variables such as void’s ratio, porosity, and degree of saturation, and gathered all information into a unified engineering report
Geological Outcrop Map of Jericho Beach February 2020
Mapped the Geological formation along a kilometre of Jericho beach, using a Brunton to measure strikes and dips of bedding planes, maximizing the opportunity the low tide provided (early morning work)
Revealed the true mineralogical composition of various geological structures and outcrops using a rock hammer, which led to a more accurate description of features
WORK EXPERIENCE
Canadian Tire, Surrey, BC Sept 2017 – Aug 2019
