2015 - present PET Scan/CT Technologist Hackensack Meridian Health Edison, NJ JFK Medical Center
Screens patients to identify required precautionary measures and contra-indications prior to PET/CT and CT clinical procedures. Performs direct and indirect injections of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media, and starts IVs. Educates patients about possible side effects and tends to all patient reactions and complications. Trains and precepts new staff. Complies with all applicable governmental and hospital regulations and policies pertaining to emergency care, radiation safety, patient safety, documentation and reporting requirements.
