DUTIES:

●Observed patient behaviour and activities on a daily basis.

●Help with serving meals, feeding and providing nutritional supplements.

●Taking vital signs of patients.

●Establish a working relationship with the families of the patients.

●Give patients personal hygiene, bed bath, and oral care.

●Caring for palliative residents and clients with dementia.

●Ensure that facilities are kept clean.

●Reporting to the direct supervisor as necessary, any clients medical problems, cuts, seizures, temperature requiring attention, vital signs.

●Provide personal care to clients in the area of bathing, toileting, changing and grooming.

●Perform mealtime tasks in daily care of clients which include spoon-feeding and monitoring special diets.

●Ensure that appropriate records and data procedures are well-kept.
