PROJECT WORKS:

Characterization and Mechanical Properties of Hybrid Metal Matrix Composite; Aluminum 6061 reinforced with Boron Carbide (B4C) and Graphite. (October 2018 – August 2019)

Project carried out at Acharya Institute of technology, (ANSYS Laboratory).

• Designed, fabricated and tested composite materials and developed using Aluminum 6061, Boron Carbide and Graphite for different weight percentages of Aluminum and B4C.

• Microstructural Analysis of the fabricated specimens at Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), Bangalore.

• Mechanical testing (Bending, Fatigue, Hardness, Tensile and Compression) of the machined specimens according to ASTM.
