DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Conducted Induction and Tool Box Meetings and ensured on-job Instructions on Safe performance of assigned job for all groups in the Work area.

2. Got suggestion from employees and improved all aspect of Health and Safety to maintain an active interest in Health and Safety.

3. Developed acceptable Health and Safety Risk Assessment, Control Standards and Revision. 4. Developed Permit Requirements, its Issuance, Monitoring and Completion. 5. Monitored Permit required works including Excavation, Confined Space works (like tanks, sewerage Pipes & Main holes, Heavy ducts & other shafts etc.), Work at height and Hot works etc. 6. Co-ordinated the training of personnel in areas of safety, including First Aid, CPR, Accident Prevention and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in the Company facilities.

7. Conducted regular and/or, as necessary, the safety check of Lifting and Fire Fighting Equipment’s and Ensured all faults (if any), rectified promptly. 8. Ensured all staff and work force are aware of FIRE and Emergency procedures through carrying out time to time FIRE Drills and other Health and Safety awareness such as work at height, handling Hazardous substances and Confined Space Activities etc. 9. Assisted executive staff, senior administrators and principals in emergency preparedness. 10. Responded to FIRES and other EMERGENCIES on/about the company property and liaised with the FIRE Department regarding emergency procedures, communications and FIRE safety education programs.

11. Participated in act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies and accordingly, increased Health and Safety awareness at all levels within the Organization. 12. Developed, Reviewed, and Updated appropriate sections of the Company’s Emergency Procedures Manual and other minimum Acceptable Health and Safety Standards within the Organization. 13. Investigated and Rectified the complaints of hazardous working conditions and reported to the Managing Director and/or other appropriate senior staff. 14. Co-ordinated an Ideal House Keeping and registration and removal of hazardous waste. 15. Monitored the progress towards achieving Health and Safety objectives at work site. 16. Carried out regular site safety inspections and Conducted, as necessary, a check of First Aid, Site Security and Labor Camp Welfare. Rectified significant weaknesses (if any) and Reported to concern senior officials.

17. Assisted the seniors in receiving and responding to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors.

18. Arranged for Occupational Health and Safety testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants as may be necessary. 19. Maintained Statutory records and other file arrangements. 20. Ensured the provision of Health and Safety Sings and Notice Boards in clean and legible condition on dominant places as required.

22. Checked proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all Operational and safety equipment’s including personal protective equipment, Lifting and Confined Space Equipment etc. 23. Submitted monthly Safety and Accident reports in addition to Convene and attend Safety meetings. 24. Investigated all serious lost work days injuries accidents occurring to the workers, staff and/or visitors and all other near miss/dangerous occurrences and submit appropriate reports to the concern senior officials.

25. Arranged Safety procedures for Pre-commissioning of Electrical, Pneumatical, Radiographical and Hydro, etc. tests.
