Final Year Project Details:

An attempt was made to develop a nanorefrigerant/nanolubricant, which could enhance the COP (Co-efficient of Performance) of a refrigeration system. Silver nanoparticles were procured in the laboratory for the preparation of nanolubricant. The purpose of utilising silver nanoparticles was because of its high thermal conductivity. Thereby increasing the heat removal capacity and reducing the power consumption of the system at the same time producing a better cooling effect. Overall the performance of the refrigeration system was found to be improved and enhanced.

Paper Publication:

Paper on the above project and research has been accepted for publication in the Universal Journal of Mechanical Engineering, a Scopus indexed journal based in USA.

External project:

Presented the idea of “Safe Grains”, a modular and improved method of storing crops and grains in containers, specially made from Plastic Aluminium composites. It was approved for government funding.

Internships:

Successfully completed internship at Eicher tractors and motors, Bhopal, India as a production and service intern and submitted the undertaken project on “Primary Shaft Oil Seal leakage”

Successfully completed internship at ESSEN Aluminium as a Quality Trainee
