In triage, I helped with chart compilations for patients and taking the patients back to their assigned rooms. Back in the ED, I helped clean/restock rooms as well as talk to patients who needed their spirits lifted. Hours: 141

Volunteer – 2012 - 2013
MCHC is a local free clinic owned by the mosque I attend in Milwaukee. It is open twice a week
(Wednesdays and Saturdays). As a volunteer in the free clinic, I acted as receptionist. Part of my job was to greet patients when they walk in, sign them in, make appointments, gather charts, call patients with test results, etc. I also acted as a translator since I am fluent in Arabic and a lot of our doctors were not native Arabic speakers. Hours: 200 Healthy Families Clinic
Clinic Manager – 2016 - 2017
Healthy Families is a PA student run pediatric clinic at Rosalind Franklin University. Our clinic treated the patient both medically and psychologically; this means that we worked hand in hand with the Psychology department during clinic hours. My room as clinic manager was to schedule all the PA students’ shifts each week, training, charting, and anything else that is needed to make sure clinic ran smoothly.

Interprofessional Community Clinic
Panel Member – 2016 – 2017
ICC is a fully student run free clinic at Rosalind Franklin University. As part of the panel, I helped work out all of the little details that helped run clinic smoothly. I also was trained to use Athena – our electronic health records. This clinic was made up of Interprofessional teams (students from different programs) that worked together to help each patient. Panel members are assigned to each team as the Athena user. As a panel member, I was also a part of the front desk committee. This means that on days I wasn’t an Athena User or working at the Healthy Families Clinic, I was working the clinic front desk.
