Training Consultant / Project Manager

Provide consulting services for clients needing help with training, curriculum development, instructional design, and documentation. Key projects include:

UCSF (Training Lead): Led the Tableau Self-Service Analytics (SSA) project training team. Responsible for all aspects of training and documentation, curriculum and course development, as well as rollout through the LMS. Developed the strategy for training, documentation, content management, certifications, assessment, as well as onboarding new users and departments. Developed ServiceNow processes for training, user onboarding, and platform access. Achieved $200,000 saving for the SSA program, which significantly improved user productivity.

Equinix (Project Manager): Led the development of the CLAS (Customer Listening and Action System) application, which was based on machine learning and predictive analytics. Managed the offshore and local teams. Provided Tableau training to project team.

Polycom (2009-2011): As the Training Manager on an OBIEE / PeopleSoft project, was responsible for training, curriculum development, documentation (training and processes), and content management (LMS and SharePoint) for sales, service, marketing, HR, and supply chain. Delivered remote as well as instructor-led classes. Organized the Train-the-Trainer program. Developed enterprise UI standards and best practices.

Deloitte (2007-2009): Worked as Training Consultant/Lead for PepsiCo, Genentech, and the Miami-Dade County Public Schools projects. Managed training developers and instructional designers. Deloitte (2003-2004): Worked as Training and Documentation consultant for Textron, Home Depot, Chrysler, and PepsiCo projects. Developed the curriculum and training documentation. Also delivered training.

State System of Higher Education - SSHE (2001-2003): As Training Project Manager, led the training team on the $95 million SAP project for HR, materials management, and procurement. Developed strategy for implementing training and content management for 14 SSHE universities. Developed the curriculum. Implemented the LMS for training rollout to 100,000 users, which saved the project $500,000.
