Internship Experience

Vocational Training from CPWD, NIT Durgapur under guidance of C.P. Sharma, Executive Engineer of that division. It went for almost a month.

It was done on residential building made in NIT Durgapur. We learn about different component building design such as site selection, planning, design of building and the different building materials used such asCement, aggregate, brick, reinforced steel and type of foundation. It is concluded that there is little difference theoretical studies that has gained during the academic and practical construction of the structural of the site. KEY PROJECTS

Aim of project:-Analysis of upstream River Basin of Durgapur Barrage using Arc SWAT.

The project involved the study of different Designs of Barrage.

Studied research paper and compared the runoff value calculated for different methods.

The methods studied were Genetic Algorithm, Finite Element Model, Optimal Design Method and Swat Model Method.

The study concluded that Swat Model Method is the most efficient and appropriate method for design of barrages.

The use of ActSwat software helped us dive deeper into the study and understand the method better. Leadership & Team Work
