Profile
I am a precise and committed individual who strives to make a positive difference through my input and dedication to the task at hand. I give my best to any endeavours that I embark on and support others to the best of my ability. I have a passion to grow and develop my skills set in any job that I do. I believe these are valuable skills to poses as I begin my pursuit of a career as a Coder.
The IT sector holds a special interest with me as I believe that technology is always changing. As I am already in the IT sector, I would like to improve my skills and then hopefully I can help people on a global scale. Taking the leading role is a key attribute I believe I hold, and I can delegate tasks to other individuals if I need to. I aim to keep team members motivated to complete tasks efficiently and quickly. But I can also work on my own on a project if necessary.
IT Skills
In my time at Microsoft I also created genetic algorithms. I learnt about jQuery so I could run the programme. The whole point of this was to programme the computer so the computer knows what to do so you are basically teaching the computer.
In my time at Liquid Modules I have helped build many projects. A few of them are; Spot The Ball, HealthXchange, Bridle Eye Care and Themis Consulting.
Spot The Ball and HealthXchange were bespoke so the senior Front End Developer designed the sites. I supported the senior developer with the design. But I still helped create the HTML for the sites I have mentioned. With Bridle Eye Care and Themis Consulting they were template sites, so I added all the images and information into the site using Umbraco.
I have some experience with JavaScript and jQuery. As I think it is vital to have some experience in JavaScript as a Front End Developer. I am keen on learning new languages and expanding my knowledge. As I have a passion for what I do.
Neonstone are a company who specialise in creating websites for the companies in the pharmaceutical industry. In my time at Neonstone I started off as a contractor but that quickly turned in to a permanent role. At Neonstone I worked with the Back End developers to create pharmaceutical websites. Once the websites have been tested by the QA’s and if there is anything for me to fix or add then we work together to make sure the issue gets resolved. Neonstone have helped me develop my JavaScript skills because before I didn’t have that much experience whereas now, I have the opportunity to improve my JavaScript skills.
Interests and Hobbies
Sports is a passion of mine, whether that be through playing Football with a team or through exercising at a gym. Through partaking in such activities, I have been able to develop my teamwork skills and my confidence when working alone or in a group.
