No Greater Threat contains a complete review and analysis of the entire USA PATRIOT Act, still the only book to do so. It then identifies and examines 12 common characteristics of a national security state, considering how far America has come since September 11 (2001) in fulfilling those characteristics, in view of government activity, Congressional legislation, agency actions, recent court decisions, and national trends. The book then looks at long term goals of peace and security and suggests how they might be achieved in a global, interdependent world. Presentations, interviews, and events related to book include radio and television interviews, speaking engagements, conferences and workshops, and special teach-in programs.
