My responsibilities include, greeting all guest and parents that enter into the hall and requiring them to fill out the guest form, entering in fines that the deans give to me, entering worship credits, loading the students’ laundry cards, making announcements every 30 minutes, and making sure the lobby and lobby bathroom are clean and presentable at all times.

I was responsible for leading, sometimes planning and implementing core and non-core programs and phenomenal experiences for children ages 9-11. I was also responsible for making sure the children got to their parents safely, and securing the children’s’ safety first at all times and of course making sure they had an amazing time at summer camp.

I had the amazing opportunity to work under EL Jones, who is the director for media for south central conference and be the event photographer alongside him, for campmeetings, youth congress, and federations. I’ve worked with and photographed Grammy nominated artists such as, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and Tye Tribbet, Kiki Sheard, and The Walls Group.

I am a Junior Political Science Major Biology Minor Major at Oakwood university in Huntsville, Alabama. During my time at Oakwood I have been selected to attend the Honda all star challenge, and have been selected to submit a research poster to the Psychology department. And in April of 2018 I ran for student government and won sophomore class senator. I am involved in many other ministries and clubs on campus a few such as, OBMA (Oakwood Bio-Medical Association), NAACP student Chapter, and PERIOD, which is a club that gets together to raise and collect feminine hygiene products to give to those who can’t afford them.

CHURCH BACK-2-SCHOOL GIVE AWAY – 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
I volunteered at my church’s back-2-school give away which we have every year. This give away is completely free of charge and is an opportunity for my church to give back to the community and those who may not be able to afford school supplies.
NURSING HOME OUTREACH – 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
Nursing home outreach was when youth from out church went to the local nursing home every 4th Sunday of the month and sung to them, handed out inspirational cards/letters we made and handed out socks and blankets to all resident as the year got colder.
FEEDING THE HOMELESS – 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
People in our community would get together every second and last Saturday morning of the month and make sack lunches and wellness bags, which included things such as toothpaste, mouthwash, socks, blankets, deodorant and for the females, feminine hygiene items. We would hand out these bags, and pray if they requested it or just have a casual conversation with them.
