PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

August 1999 – December 2005

APPLICATION DEVELOPER

JJK Infotech Inc., 154 Lone Pine Court, Clayton, CA 94517

While contracted to USS-Posco Industries of Pittsburg CA, I developed and implemented mainframe web servers, IMS Transactions, and COBOL batch programs using Transform/IMS/DB2, Cortex/PCL/JCL, and DB2 SQL. UPI is a finishing steel mill and my applications were in areas of Receiving, Order Entry, Mill Facility Scheduling, Shipping, Invoicing, Claims, Metallurgical Test Reports and data mining.

May 1991 – May 1999

SOFTWARE ARCHITECT

Hologix Inc., 4250 E. Camelback Rd. Suite K220, Phoenix, AZ 85018

I started at Hologix as a toolset developer, on a small team that ported an IBM mainframe development and run-time product to new environments supporting work groups, distributed processing, and client-server concepts. Starting in 1996, I was using the toolset on various platforms to implement applications in realms of Order Entry, Demand Planning, Steel Mill Scheduling, Invoicing, and Product Configuration Management.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Transform Logic Corporation, Scottsdale, AZ

I was a principle architect for the Transform software product line of application generators and utilities that provided an accelerated development environment. Program models and coding patterns were captured along with the conditions for their use so that specific programs can be generated upon entry of case definitions into a repository. These systems enabled the implementation of production quality transactions and batch programs in just hours as opposed to weeks as required with conventional techniques.
