SFTR (Securities Financing Transactions Regulation) project aims at enabling State Street to comply with EU regulatory mandate for every trade that has been generated in its trading platforms. As part of this, we are modifying DML (Dollar Market Logic) system which is the legacy book of record for the organization to comply with overall SFTR compliance objectives.

Responsibility:

Designed two new DB2 tables from scratch for DML application LOAN messages storage and processing using PL1, COBOL, DB2, RDZ, FileAid and MS Visio.

Designed and co-developed a new CICS messaging system to fetch application data from the new LOAN table and send message to downstream applications using PL1, DB2, RDZ, FileAid and MS Visio.

Designed and co-developed a new CICS messaging system to receive data from upstream caller SLE2 application system using PL1, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, MQ and IDCAMS.

With ACB-II implementation, however ACB was required to be non-available on non-whole life products (Term, Term Upgrade, Comp Life, DI) and available on whole life products - 65 Life, 90 Life, Limited Pay (10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Pay), significantly increasing regression effort.

Responsibility:

Completed redesigning, coding and testing of all impacted routines and all this was done using PL1, DB2, JCL, SAS, CICS, SQL 8.5 and ChangeMan.

Updated commission system for policy change scenario through modification of relevant batch programs and jobs using PL1, DB2, JCL, SAS, CICS, ChangeMan and SQL 8.5.

DCFSA allowed FRs to set aside pre-tax dollars to help cover expenses for dependent care and associated services and costs that they anticipate for the year.

Our task was to provide Developmental strategy and execution guideline for end-to-end handling of an equipment stating from booking process, then travelling through in-gate, out-gate, vessel load, vessel re-handle, tie/untie, train load and train discharge processes.

Conducted ‘Rule Mining’ and extract business rules from Legacy mainframe APL system

Validated outcome and functionalities of existing mainframe-based system with newly developed Java based system
