Desert Rose is the India TA record keeping system, which maintains the investor and distributor details, and used for transaction processing, dealer commissions, reconciliations, distributions.

Currently India TA’s processing activities are done out of two processing sites Chennai and Hyderabad. Applications are received via physical paper from branches (currently 34) and images from outsourced collection centers across the country (currently 104), apart from electronic feeds from the website and selected distribution partners who trade with us electronically.

From the existing physical paper-based processing model, the India TA would like to move to an image-based processing model to improve productivity, increase automation of document management, improve process controls, reduce processing and storage costs, improve process management and service turnarounds.

To achieve the stated objectives above, India TA would require implementation of an Imaging, Indexing, Retrieval and Processing solution that will provide the ability to:-

Build the required Integration components for Transaction processing system with the document storage system

Provide the Imagine viewing solution for Transaction Processing (Split View) based on WIRN and prioritization

RCMS:

Receivables & Collection Management Solution (RCMS) is a system developed for standard chartered bank (SCB) catering to its receivable and collection processing needs and to provide to its customers the value added services.

RCMS – TSS

RCMS will be enhanced to interface with Transaction Screening System (TSS) to enable real-time screening for Cheque, Cash, DDI and DDA transactions processed in RCMS. Transactions will be sent for screening based on Country – Product – Currency – Transaction stage configuration defined in RCMS.

RCMS – UAEDDS Phase – II

Central Bank of UAE (CBUAE) intends to enhance the payments (and receivables) systems offered in the country by introducing a system that shall be referred as the UAE Direct Debit System (UAEDDS). The UAEDDS provides the framework under which Banks enable Originators or Service Providers to collect amounts due from Payers in an efficient and cost effective manner.

The Objective is to provide an alternative method of effecting recurring payment transactions for utility services which would reduce the need for issuing and handling paper instruments. This should lead to improved customer service by the Banks / Companies / Corporations / Government departments collecting / Receiving the payments.

RCMS – Report Only Product Change

RCMS will be enhanced to have a ‘Reporting only’ feature which enables the system to report those transactions without performing any credit posting.
