Job Responsibilities as Assistant/Senior site Engineer

Assist in designing, developing and executing construction projects.

Work with Project Manager in reviewing project specification and in preparing project plan

and design sheet.

Visit sites, prepare construction drawings and develop samples. Work with engineering team in developing construction plan.

Determine budget, schedule, manpower and material and equipment requirements to execute

Construction project.

Report all expenses to Project Manager on timely basis.

Maintain quality assurance standards for projects.

Provide technical assistance to field engineer staff / supervisor / when needed.

Analyze construction problems and recommend corrective actions.

Order and stock construction materials to avoid shortage

Managing parts of construction projects.

Overseeing building work

Undertaking surveys works, coordinating surveyors for any changes in actual site Conditions.

setting out sites and organising facilities

checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly

supervising contracted staff

Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales

Job responsibilities as Senior Quality Engineer/QC inspector:

Review of Documents for Approval of Material with approved drawings, Meeting with Client specification /Maintaining the files for Immediate review and references for Material inspection received at site.

Preapare and Review Method statement and its approval from client for Carrying out work at site with quality and safety.

Review of Approved Quality control Plan / and Prepare Inspection test Plan (ITP) and carry out Inspection at site accordance with approved QCP & ITP.

Review of Approved drawings, monitor and maintaining of control copy Drawings through Document controller for execution department and control quality Department for execution of work at site with latest revisions.

Review of Calibration Certificates Records for all Measuring equipment’s used at site internal and external third party Equipment Eg: Survey Instruments /Temperature Monitoring equipment/ Dail gauges / third party Laboratory Equipment.

Carry out Material Inspection for Received items at site accordance with approved drawing, Material approval,material data sheet, Test certificates .

Check on daily basis for storage of received material at store and site are meeting requirement as per MSDS (material safety data sheet).

Checking for each Material expiry date as per recorded at time of material inspection and instruct store / management to remove the expired material in store and site if any

Raise inspection notification for completed site work co-ordinating with site execution team for client inspection.

Carry out inspection for Excavation of soil for foundation works

Verify location of foundation with survey report records matching approved drawing

Carry out Field density test with approved third party laboratory for formation levels and backfilling compacted layers by layer

Carry out inspection for reinforcement and form work, concerting,Bituminous coating,Epoxy Coating, grouting below equipment base, Backfilling and compaction layer by layer for structure as per approved drawings .Similarly carryout stage wise inspection mentioned in ITP .

Raise internal NCR for observed non-conformance and monitor closure of NCR within assigned time.

Prepare Dossier for completed works and its submission with proper summary
