Project Details:

1)4th Year (7th Sem, Minor Project): Analysis of RC series cipher fitted in Lightweight Cryptography

Encryption and Decryption of data using RC Cipher Series fitted in Lightweight Cryptography.

Rivest Cipher(RC) has 6 ciphers to its name. we use RC4,RC5 and RC6 for our project for the showing the difference way we can encrypt and decrypt.

RC4 is a Stream cipher, RC5 is Block cipher and RC6 is Block cipher. We found the computational cost and the strength of the code and came to the conclusion that RC5 cipher can be best fitted for lightweight cryptography for its efficiency and easiness.

2)4th Year (8th Sem, Major Project): Implementation of Steganographic Schemes

The main idea behind this Project is the Implementation of Image Steganographic Schemes i.e. Text in Image in LSB and Spread Spectrum using Java and MATLAB respectively.

Steganography is the practice of concealing a file, message, image or video within another file, message, image or video

LSB Sequential method using Java comprises of hiding Text in Image using the Least Significant Bit of each pixel of the image (RGB).

Spread Spectrum method using MATLAB comprises of using the lowest frequency of the image and embedding text into the image.
