Currently having 3+ Years of experience in VE Commercial Vehicles ltd, Pithampur, as Design Engineer in Product Design & Development for Engine Peripheral Dept. (On Payroll of Param Tech Pune) Responsible for:

Design and development of Engine Peripherals/Aggregates considering the Functional & packaging requirement, Design review & finalization of parts with VI team on Vehicle level and with ME team for tooling clearance & Ensure first time right design. o Air Intake System,

Final quality check of models & drawings created by self & others to ensure models/drawings meet customer requirements as well as meet group specific drafting practices.

Involvement in Benchmark Studies of Engine Aggregates for Truck & Bus.

Interacting with CFT’s like VI/CAE/CFD/VDFA/VDFS departments for Virtual validation of proposed design

& get feedback from DFA/DFAM/DFM/Costing/VDC/CAE for Timely release of parts in to the system

Review Technical Specifications and having discussions on parts, assemblies with supplier, buyers & SQA to finalize the product as per project requirement for B/C/P release.

Get proto parts development at supplier end for timely vehicle build and display & work with CFT of ME/Proto/Production team for B/C/Proto-type build Vehicle as per drawing & closure of design issues reported from Testing, Validation and Field if any.

Cooling trails/Endurance test/Rig test as per System/Engine performance requirement & also support for release of Cost, Weight & Variety reduction ideas

Demonstrating knowledge and use of dimension standards, tolerance standards & tolerance stack-up as required supporting design integrity.

Maintain effective communications both verbal & written with customer, supplier, team members and cross functional departments.

Adhering to DFM & A (Design for manufacture & assembly), while working on engineering designs and drawings.

Completed B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (2012-2016) from “Thakur Shiv Kumar Singh Memorial Engineering College”, Burhanpur (M.P.) Present aggregate CGPA=6.3
