Helped to obtain variances from different government agencies as required for these projects. Maintain good working relationships with utility companies, subcontractors, testing and civil engineers to maintain budget and timely completion of projects. (1993 – 2004) Project Manager Responsible for complete job from inception to completion, including all estimating and bidding of project, construction and assembly of job close out documentation. Generated owner and subcontractors contracts, original and updated construction schedules. Also responsible to generate monthly job cost reports which were reviewed by CFO and CEO of company. Attended numerous safety classes including the OSHA ten hour course, along with several erosion control classes. Knowledge of Microsoft project scheduling program. Typically managed 3 to 7 jobs concurrently, ranging in price from 800,000 to 5 million dollars. Most projects were retail construction, approximately half these were ground up projects, with the rest being remodel projects and or additions. Mentored several new project manager during my tenure.
