Project Name: Smart Helmet
Role: Leader Team Size: 2 Project Duration: 1 Month The smart helmet is a new idea aiming at protecting human beings, vehicle and its components from severe damage. The Smart helmet consists of two sections- transmitter and receiver. The microcontroller is the brain of the system. A set of sensors are connected to the microcontroller at the receiver section. They are used to monitor a set of conditions. Also an IoT module is embedded in the transmitter section. The microcontroller in the transmitter sections makes the required output and is send to the receiver section. The connection between transmitter and receiver is by means of Bluetooth. By sensing the external conditions like temperature, oil level, speed etc, the required instruction is given to the rider by means of sound with the help of mp3 module incorporated on the receiver section. Also the real time data collected by the sensors can be monitored by a trusted person from a remote location with the help of IoT system. The data is viewed through internet via a platform called Ubidots. In Ubidots the data is displayed in a graphical format which even a layman can understand. EDUCATION
