Processed Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets & all financial application for Queens Medical Center on the 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm shift utilizing the IBM 9672 RA6 computer system. On the 11:30 pm to 7:30 am shift, responsibilities were to monitor all system backups of the mainframe and server systems. Peripheral equipments used for processing were the 9032-002 tape storage device, 3493-L19 tape library, SUN Microsystems tape server & the IBM 6262 022 & 014 printers. Processed Queens Medical Center's Human Resources/Payroll system using the PeopleSoft & ProBusiness applications. Have been working in the Desktop Division since being put on on-call status in September 2012. Primary responsibility at Queens Medical Center was to diagnose & repair Computer On Wheels (COW’s). Have been employed as a System Technician at Rehab Hospital of the Pacific due to shortage of personnel. Position requires the use of Track-It, Altris & Citrix applications to assist staff online. Due to abnormal working hours and world wide operations, duties also entailed diagnosing and correcting of all processing, on-line, system, user problems and critical time management of systems input/output. The final month of employment was spent in Indianapolis installing and enhancing the Far East system on the IBM ES 9000 and the training the accounting and operations staff.

Duties were to write control and operations procedures. establish and enforce EDP policy, system development and the inventory and purchasing of supplies and equipment for the Marine Corps Exchange retail organization's Computer Center. Wrote and enhanced programs to aid the Exchange in creating their Management Information System. Due to requirements by the Marine Corps Exchange Headquarters, the NCR I-8270 and NCR T-8270 EPOS systems replaced the IBM computer. Added duties included the designing and installation of the NCR and on-line systems at the Computer Center and Main Exchange outlet and overseeing the conversion from the IBM computer.
