Laboratory Technician,May 2019 – Present
Doble Engineering, Indianapolis, IN
Supervisor:Charis Campbell, 317-***-****
I currently work at Doble Engineering where I performed analytical tests on dielectric fluids. Here I work with instruments such as LC, IR, and IFT, while preforming techniques such as acid-base titration, gravity filtration, water content, dielectric stress, power factor, and excel spreadsheet data manipulations. I analyze transformer oil for problems a transformer may have, effectively preventing disastrous problems. Once a problem has been identified or is currently showing problems, the tests performed will give a better understanding of how to deal with such and if the issue with the instrument has been resolved. OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE
Independent Researcher,May 2018 – May 2019
Ball State University, Muncie, IN
Supervisor:Dr. Sammuelson, 765-***-****
At Ball State, I participated in a Summer CRISP program which turned into an independent research project and continued on till my graduation. Here I conducted research on an anti-tumor drug with the goal of improving its properties of solubility and specificity to solid tumor cells. I basically did a twelve-step total synthesis of organic materials to produce a more effective drug, while varying some steps to see if better yield could be achieved or whether adding a different ligand would cause changes to the properties of the drug. I would work indirectly with Elli Lilly pharmaceutical company in a joint effort to create a more effective and cheaper drug. EDUCATION
