Senior Consultant (South East Asia)

About the role

Invia is seeking a quality focused and enthusiastic Senior Consultant to join Invia Singapore. He/she should have broad technical experience in Telecommunication domain that spans across NSS, OSS, BSS and DSS applications and platforms. The Senior Consultant will work as part of a team, with primary responsibility for technical delivery and oversight for South East Asian customer engagements. He/she will also help solve complex issues arising during project delivery.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Working with software architecture, design and solution delivery teams and internal functional business teams to ensure SAAS solutions align with product strategy and technology roadmap

• Analysing business requirements and process initiatives, to produce solution designs and manage and build components of large and medium sized initiatives

• Undertake problem diagnosis, analyse, then design and deliver software enhancements

• Working as a crucial component of a project team responsible for enhancing existing systems or developing new systems

• Ensure that developed or modified application components align with the business and application architecture and meet application performance details

• Exposure to enterprise architecture including production of architecture models

• Engaging with Telco’s end customers for solution design of complex requirements including trainings to the end customers when required

• Expected to travel mainly in South East Asia region

• Build strong relationship with regional Telcos and provide effective support to make them successful for growth on a long-term partnership basis

Skills and Experience

• Has solid experience and knowledge of telecommunications NSS, OSS, BSS and DSS applications and platforms.

• Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions

• Technical knowledge of programming, system design, infrastructure and database concepts

• Advanced programming skills in one or more languages essentially SQL, Python and/or Javascript

• Excellent analytical skills and proven track record of solving difficult problems

• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
