Responsibilities: Accurate medication order entry, checking prepared IVs and extempos for accuracy. Consultation with physicians and nurses to clarify orders. Proper aseptic techniques when preparing IVs. Evaluation of drug interactions and allergies as they relate to patients. Therapeutic monitoring of drugs. Accurate dosing of Neonatal and Pediatric Medications.
