Junior Executive Site Engineer in Medavakkam Grade Separator Project.

•Execute the T-Beam, cross beam girders and deck slab for both straight and curve spans as in general arrangement drawing.

•The cup-lock scaffolding method is adopted for the deck and all the ledgers, supports and bracings are verified before proceeding.

•The BBS of the girders and also slab is thoroughly learned, the rods are cut and bend for actual dimensions and numbers in the yard. The special length rods of 32mm and 25mm dia are straightened and tandem shifted and lifted in the site.

•The 20m straight and curve spans have been executed accurately for coordinates that is plotted in the CAD drawing.

•The sheets are shuttered correctly for its dimension and classification. The haunch sheets, adjustment sheets and other angled sheets are placed at right positions and covers for rods are ensured so that there is no possibility of exposing rods.

•Plan the requirement of manpower, materials and availability of time to complete the structure.

•Monitor the work progress in all aspects including safety precautions.

•Give keen attention for the quality of the structure.

•Recording daily labour report and daily progress report to find the out turn and productivity using enterprise resource planning software.

•Manage the productivity by taking care of key 6 factors that include cost, transportation, power, materials, manpower and quality

Technical Assistant in Erode Grade Separator Project.

•Ensure the quality of the work by doing various field tests as well as lab tests.

•Prepare records of the various tests done in lab and sites that include compressive strength tests, Field density test, slump tests and aggregate tests.

•Check the quality of work done by the contractor for dimensions from drawing, steel quantity from BBS and others from standard codes and report it to Assistant Engineer.

•Carry SPT test and determine the bearing capacity of the subgrade for upcoming grade separator project at Thindal, Erode.

•Handle other issues with other departments like Electrical Board, Public Works Department.
