PROJECT EXPERIANCES:-

#1

Name of the Project : 16mm film Projector.

Employer Name : C.S.I Polytechnic College, Salem

Duration : 6 months

Team Size : 6 members

Role : Developer

Project Description :

All the projectors from the first magic lanterns to the latest motion picture models have the same components. That is Light source, Condenser system concentrating the light on object plane, and a projection lens. Here the 750W Halogen lamp is a Light Source; Photo diode is used as a source of audio which converts the light signal into relevant audio signal. When the supply is given to the projector the film roll is settled into the upper real the film flows down to the lower reel through film gate, claw operating path sound drum. In the film roll the sounds are stored in one side i.e., sound track and another side has sprocket hole. The film gate has two aperture plates to pass the rays. Then the projector lens focuses the rays and illuminate to the screen or wall. Then the film passes through the sound drum with the help of pad rollers. To avoid the shaking of film pressure rollers is used in front of sound drawn. In the film the sound is recorded in ration coated side. The exciter lamp passed the light through optical slit and photo diode to the sound track the light rays is reflected. The photo diode senses it and some process are done then sound is reproduced in the film. Finally the film roll is send and rolled over the lower reel. In this way the picture and sound recorded in the film is reproduced.

#2

Name of the Project : FM Transmitter

Employer Name : G.D Naidu charities

Duration : 6 months

Team Size : 2 members

Role : Member

Project Description :

This project has been operated in the principle of Frequency Modulation and the transmitted frequency range is 88 kHz to 108 kHz. This frequency range is capable to transmit the signal over100 meter distance. It is designed like a cordless phone and it is operated by 6v DC battery power. This project has constructed by Transistors. A condenser microphone has receive the voice signal and convert it as electrical signal which feed to the next pre and power amplified which constructed by NPN and PNP Transistors. After that electrical signal has frequency modulated by inductance 0.18H and the crystal oscillator, which is an external oscillator of the circuit. This Frequency modulated signal has transmitted and received by the FM Receiver.

#3

Name of the Project : Controlling and Monitoring of Single Phase PFC Pre- regulator using PIC Microcontroller and

GSM technology

Employer Name : Maha College of Engineering, Salem Duration : 6 months

Team Size : 3 members

Role : Developer

Project Description :

A hybrid power factor correction (PFC) pre regulator controlled by a single microcontroller. By using the on-board peripherals of this microcontroller, no complex algorithm or external multiplier was required to perform the PFC function correctly. Here the measured power factor was about 0.99 and the output voltage was preciously controlled, also the output result is transferred to the listed GSM mobiles from the Base mobile which is connected to the circuit through the RS232c serial interface. The 12v, 24v, 5v DC supply is applied to all of the circuit by power supply. These supply voltages are given to the Vcc of microcontroller MOSFET and PFC circuit. The regulating IC7412 and IC7405 are used to give the regulated DC output. The Vcc voltage is applied to the microcontroller which will produce the square wave pulse. The crystal oscillator produces the carrier signal and the output is displayed in the LCD counter which connected with microcontroller. The output power factor is also transmitted to the listed GSM mobiles by using messaging system from the base mobile. When the 12v, 1500 RPM DC motor is connected the o/p is varied and this o/p is transmitted. If the load is increased the power factor is decreased and this o/p value is transmitted to the mobile.
