Human Resources – HR Systems & Operations Manager 5/17 - present

Managed HR side of HRIS (ADP), including daily feed with iCIMS [applicant tracking system (ATS)], benefit carrier connections, and overall system updates. Created ad hoc reports for HR business partners, updated system on improvements to increase efficiency of internal processes. Worked closely with Payroll team to ensure data integrity.

Worked with IT on various projects to streamline employee information from ADP, including active directory, LITMOS and Degreed (training systems), and HRIS RFP. Worked with IT to ensure overall HR System data security.

As the iCIMS subject matter expert, served as technical point of contact, tested system upgrades and changes, wrote reports and automated delivery, and worked with Talent Acquisition (TA) Director to identify and implement process improvements. Ensured data integrity through continuous clean up of system.

oTeam member for New Hire Orientation program ranging from offer accepted to day of hire. Created the onboarding portal in iCIMS automating paperwork for new hires and tasks for Hiring Managers, HR Coordinators, and TA Specialists. New program increased new hire engagement and removed black holes in the hiring process.

oRolled out Staffing Agency portal for agencies with direct contracts with Meritage so that all candidates fed through iCIMS allowing for tracking of agency hires.

Collaborated with HR team to identify opportunities to drive process improvement, productivity and other initiatives around automation and policy changes. Prepared training material and communicated the implementation and adoption of new processes to HR and payroll (when needed) and then to all employees. Projects included bridging of service time, employee referral program, annual compliance training (sexual harassment and workplace violence, conflict of interest, IT, and code of ethics), and employee handbook.

Managed company benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, 401k, non qualified deferred compensation, tuition reimbursement, financial well-being, company-wide discount, and identity protection. Part of the total rewards center of excellence (COE).

oResponsible for annual open enrollment, including annual renewals with broker, updated material for employees and candidates, updated benefits in ADP, worked with providers on presentations, and chose and coordinated in-person and webinar training sessions for multiple locations.

oEstablished benefit analytics and data insights to monitor current enrollment and conducted research to understand employee needs and identify areas of opportunity to enhance the company’s well-being offerings through participation in multiple benefit benchmarking surveys and employee input. Planned, designed and communicated the implementation and adoption of new benefits.

oManaged benefit funding; administered tuition reimbursement program; and managed annual compliance such as 401k audit, 5500 filing, and 1095-C’s. Researched and responded to employee benefit questions. Worked with TA team to help “close” the deal with their candidates on benefit related questions.

oManaged external vendor performance for all of the above benefit programs through SLA’s and Ongoing Oversight with very strong relationships with insurance broker and medical and 401k providers.

oDeveloped and delivered company well-being communications, including newsletter, educational sessions, and incentive program. Administered company wellness initiatives and campaigns.

Managed leaves for the company (STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA), including weekly meetings with 3rd party administrator, ongoing interaction with employees on leave, and updating field HR personnel and managers on employees’ leaves.

Human Resources – Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist 6/14 – 5/17

Managed full cycle recruiting of all levels of corporate functions, including HR, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Strategic Operations, Legal, and IT. Reduced staffing agency fees by 50% for corporate hires in first year. Served as west, south, and Florida Regional Recruiter during transition periods. Assisted with hiring other TA members and then trained them on Meritage recruiting processes and iCIMS. Co-developed and presented training program for managers on how to hire at Meritage.

Managed and leveraged iCIMS (ATS) to streamline hiring process and improve efficiency and productivity of team. Reestablished feed between ADP and iCIMS for new hires and rehires. Worked with TA team to update recruiting workflow for all hires. Built dashboards and standard reports for TA team, HR, and Managers to support the business needs on progress of current recruiting needs as well as historical information for workforce planning and HR drivers. Created email and interview templates, updated job descriptions for top jobs, updated offer letters, as well as added salaries and bonus plans to job templates to streamline interviewing/hiring process for TA team. Rolled out Connect portal to streamline University Recruiting activities for intern and new college grad programs as well as email campaigns for candidates in the system who we were interested in hiring. Rolled out Hiring Manager survey to continually obtain feedback on TA process and team.

In partnership with TA Director, created and rolled out internal mobility program, including creation of internal careers site leveraging iCIMS. Established Employee Referral Program (ERP) using internal careers page. Managed ERP which included monthly report with payout information for payroll department.

Managed roll out of new behavior assessment (Predictive Index) to HR and then to managers. Connected PI to iCIMS to streamline process of sending assessment to candidates by TA team. Updated interview templates in iCIMS to include PI-specific factor combinations of desired behaviors by position.

Team member for transitioning to new background vendor and managed connecting new vendor to iCIMS with results. Lead for background check adjudication questions with field HR team and created background screening standards by position.

Served as interim Talent Acquisition Director twice during tenure providing continuity between TA team, other HR functions, and the business. Supported new CHRO in this interim role, including budget, vendor management, creating company presence on Glassdoor, improving company presence on LinkedIn, etc.

North America recruiting lead hiring an average of 150 employees annually, including hard to find engineering skill sets. Worked with internal and external legal team on visa needs.

Served as Americas Staffing Lead for HRIS RFP and implementation of new ATS, Taleo/Oracle. Worked with diverse cross-cultural team to define and configure to Freescale’s Specifications; integral team member of change management and training team for Recruiters and Hiring Managers moving to a self-guided system; recruiting lead on metric report requests.
